Democrats Refuse to Debate Extending FISA legislation
that would allow America to fight terrorism,
while they find time to go after former administration staff.
February 14, 2008, the House of Representatives took up debate on issuing citations of contempt to White House chief of staff Joshua Bolten and former White House counsel Harriet Miers.
House Republicans walked out of the debate. Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) urged the House to pass the FISA reforms that have already passed in the Senate.
