The dems and the liberal press do spout untruths all the time, this is why we expose them for who they are. I say we always expose those who spew lies about our troops. We need to be about the business of showing all telling of all of the good these men and women of honor & integrity are doing.
I offer a distinction. And it's not partisan, it's not liberal. I have no agenda except to say, I believe (and I share this in support of the troops) that Americans, no matter what "stripe," support our soldiers.
Most every American I've heard quoted in the media has consistently thanked and supported the troops. The media/politicians may reject the war (and yes, I concede that to soldiers on the front lines that is hard to hear about when facing the enemy and watching comrades die) and I'm not doing that here and I refuse to go down that path here as a detour/red herring. So please don't misread my intent.
But, again, my ONLY agenda in saying this is to be supportive of the troops, I have never heard a sane American, after the travesty of the "soldiers' welcome" from Vietnam, ever condemn the soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan for putting themselves in harm's way. I am proud of them. I am moved by them. And they have volunteered. And that speaks volumes. They have volunteered.
God Bless our soldiers. May they be safe. May they be recognized and honored for their valor. THEY HAVE VOLUNTEERED. And may peace come soon so they may come home.

In all seriousness, I hear you. I do.
I believe the Murtha's and Kerry's and Obama's need to feel the heat the way they are putting heat on men and women in combat zones. They still won't have a clue to the damage they are doing to their morale but they at least will learn to empathize the criticism.
What kills me is that the media let them get away with it. They will not challenge these obvious, radical lies.
