Senator Tom Coburn Calling the Dem. Leadership on Their Lies

Today I watched a senate debate. I just had to share it with anyone interested. Tom Coburn was spot on in his comments. He was giving fact after fact. Then reid would start telling emotional stories to no doubt ignite the liberals watching. This is a must watch. It's 3 hours long, but you can watch it in sections.

This will show us all why liberals should not hold the offices they fill right now. Remember this for the November elections.

Is that the oddest thing you've ever witnessed? It was like Tom Coburn explaining the facts with evidences and proofs - and then the dems would play an emotional card and would totally disregard any truth.

It was like watching an adult trying to explain facts and reasons to kids could refused to listen.

Back during the civil rights demonstrations, the Libs learned something of the power of the emotional voter. The general public has very little knowledge of how Washington operates. The Dems have decided to sell their positions on the power of a 20 second soundbite which the liberal media is all to happy to help publicize. Its a marriage made in hell. That session demonstrates the difficulty of explaining wise and good policy procedures as compared to what's easy and popular. "What do you mean you wouldn't fund Lou Gherig's disease databases?"
